Dear Readers,
Indian Rupee is expected to open in the range of 67.20 - 67.30 today.
US stock markets closed on a positive note, with Dow Jones Industrial Average closing higher by 67 points and S&P index higher by 2 points. The US equity markets opened the week and rose cautiously ahead of the important ECB meeting scheduled this week.
European stock markets closed in the red, with FTSE closing lower by 17 points and DAX closing lower by 45 points. The European index closed lower following weak global cues.
Asian stock markets are trading on the negative note, with Nikkei index trading lower by 276 points while Hang Seng index is trading lower by 204 points. Asian indices are trading lower following weak Chinese trade data.
SGX Nifty is trading lower by 17 points at 7494 levels indicating a negative opening for the Indian stock markets.
Asian currencies are trading on a mixed note against the US dollar.
